I know many people set New Years resolutions at this time of year and it may be that you do the same?
If you do something like this I think that whatever you do or how you do it, the process should be fun and enjoyable 🙂
I wanted to share with you something that one of my mentors taught me many years ago and you are welcome to use it.
Step 1 is to look at your Desired Reality.
What are the things you would like to BE, DO or HAVE?
This can cover such a wide range of things and I know some people that like to put a dream board together with pictures that they collect that resonate with them, others write it down in a list – either way I feel that it is important to do more than just think about it. Something more powerful happens, that I have found makes thing more likely to occur when you take something from your imagination and make it tangible.
Step 2 is to compare that with your Current Reality.
For most of us there is a gap (hence the desired part of the process being at the start)
Step 3 is to ask the following
These 3 questions are what I use to give me clues to new directions for making any change.
- What could I STOP doing?
- What could I START doing?
- What could I CONTINUE doing?
The answers to these questions should give you some clues to doing things differently that will hopefully help you get closer to your desired reality.
I find this 3 step process is really easy to do and is quite a lot of fun.  I look forward to seeing you all throughout the year hope to discuss anything I can help you get closer to.
As always, leave a short comment below. Welcome to the wonderful 2015.
